Three Top Company Summer Party Ideas

Company Summer Party Ideas

OK, it’s still technically Winter but did you know that experts recommend that you start planning your Summer event four to six months in advance? So before the weather starts warming up and, with it, everyone’s interest in planning their company summer parties, here are a few ideas on how to turn up the heat on the average staff get-together.

Get Your Team Active

Exercise is well-known for producing endorphins which makes everyone feel great and it’s a good excuse to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Team activities can also really help teams bond which is great for creating a healthy company culture both inside and outside the office.

Some ideas you can try include:

  • Go Ape
  • Mini Golf
  • It’s a Knockout (a giant, inflatable obstacle course)
  • Canoeing, kayaking, rowing or paddle boarding
  • Wacky Racers
  • Archery
  • Survival experiences

Go On A River Cruise

If you’re a large organisation, you can hire a boat all to yourself or if there are just a few of you, there are plenty of parties you can join.

There are lots of tours offering different packages including lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or just drinks. As well as providing a couple hours of great food and drink, your guests can take in the sights as you cruise around the river.

Hire a Marquee

If you have space on your office grounds, why not hire a marquee? This will save you a huge amount of time because you don’t have to find and view lots of different venues, it can be very cost-effective and the added bonus is that all your employees will already know where to go.

Whether you’re planning a small gathering or a large function, there are lots of different-sized marquees available to hire. You can also rest assured that your marquee will be able to transform any outdoor space into a stylish venue which is bound to make a great impression on your guests.

Another benefit of marquees is that you’re covered regardless of what the British weather throws at you. If it’s a warm day, your guests can enjoy the outdoor ambience while also having shade if needed but if it’s raining or a bit cold, they will be plenty warm inside the marquee.

Some more ideas you can tie in with your marquee hire include:

  • Hosting a BBQ
  • Showing a film under the stars
  • Putting on a scavenger hunt
  • Playing games such as rounders or giant Jenga
  • Entertainment such as a band or magician
